Preheat oven to 400 F. Line a large baking sheet with a piece of parchment paper; set aside.
In a large bowl combine the flour, baking powder, sugar, and everything bagel seasoning; mix to combine.
Using a large cheese grater shred the butter into the dry ingredients; use two forks or a pastry cutter to work the butter into the mix, stopping when the mixture is a coarse meal.
Stir in the crumbled bacon, grated cheese, and buttermilk; stir with a fork just the dough starts to come together, it may still be slightly shaggy.
Turn the dough out onto a counter and knead until the dough has been worked into a ball.
Roll the dough until about 1" thick, cut the dough into thirds, and stack the pieces of dough on top of each other. Roll out to about 1" thick, and repeat the stacking. Roll out dough to 1" thick one last time.
Using a biscuit cutter or a round glass, cut the biscuits out. Once you have used up all the dough, gently press the scraps together and recut. These pressed together pieces will not be quite as pretty as the first round, but they taste just as delicious.
Place the biscuits on the prepared baking sheet, brush each one with a little cream, sprinkle with extra seasoning and bake for 18-20 minutes, or until golden brown.
