- Remove puff pastry from the freezer and allow to sit for 30 minutes until it is pliable.
- Preheat oven to 400.
- In a bowl combine cream cheese, ¼ cup powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
- In another bowl combine sliced peaches, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until peaches are all coated.
- Cut puff pastry into 6 pieces.
- Add 1-2 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture to the top of the puff pastry. Spreading the mixture ¼ inch from the edges.
- Layer peaches onto of cream cheese mixture.
- In a small bowl combine egg and 1-2 tablespoon of water. Mix to combine.
- Using a pastry brush brush the edges of the puff pastry. This helps the pastry brown up in the oven.
- Bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Combine remaining ¼ cup powdered sugar with heavy cream to create a pourable consistency. Drizzle over freshly baked danishes and enjoy hot.
