Instructions
In a large skillet add 2 tablespoons of butter. Once melted, add the onions, salt and pepper, and allow them to cook down and deeply caramelize for about 15 to 20 minutes, stirring frequently, until the onions start to caramelize.
Add in ground beef and cook until no longer pink.
Add in the garlic, wine, and Worcestershire, allow it to bubble up and reduce for about 30 seconds. Then pour in the beef stock and whisk or vigorously stir to blend in and combine until smooth.
Add in your pasta of choice and bring the mixture to a simmer. Cover and allow to cook for 8-10 minutes. Stirring occasionally.
Once the pasta has cooked, topped with shredded cheese. Cover with lid to allow the cheese to melt or if using a cast iron skillet place in oven and broil for a few minutes to melt the cheese.
