This Ranch Bacon Pasta Salad is my husband’s all time favorite pasta salad. It is surprisingly light and super simple to put together!
Ingredients
- Pasta – your favorite pasta shape works! I personally love the 3 Farm Daughters pasta (affiliate). High fiber and 2 ingredients!
- Bell Pepper
- Cherry Tomatoes
- Ranch Dressing – included homemade ranch in the recipe card but you can swap for your favorite ranch dressing.
- Bacon
- Optional: fresh dill, green onions, shredded cheese
How to make Ranch Bacon Pasta Salad
- Cook pasta according to package. Drain and set aside.
- Combine all the ranch dressing ingredients in a bowl. Mix until smooth.
- In a large bowl add cooked and drained pasta, diced bell pepper, quarter tomatoes, crumbled bacon and 1 cup of the ranch dressing.
- Mix to combine and store in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to chill completely. You may need to add a bit more ranch before serving as the pasta will absorb the dressing as it sits.

- 1 bell pepper diced
- 1 cup quarter tomatoes
- 1 cup ranch dressing
- 1/2 lb bacon cooked + crumbled
- optional: green onions fresh dill
Ranch Dressing
- 1/2 cup mayonnaise
- 1/2 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 tsp dried dill
- 1/2 tsp dried parsley
- 1/2 tsp dried chives
- 1/2 tsp onion powder
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp pepper
