INGREDIENTS

1 large cucumber
1 cup shredded chicken
½ avocado
¼ cup feta cheese, crumbled
1 tbsp everything bagel seasoning

INSTRUCTIONS
Prepare one Minute Butter and Sea Salt Jasmine Rice Cup according to package instructions.

Cut a cucumber in half and scoop out the inside seeds.

In a bowl smash avocado and add in prepared rice, shredded chicken, feta cheese, and scooped out cucumber. Mix to combine.

Carefully skip rice mixture into hollowed out cucumbers and top with a sprinkle of everything bagel seasoning. #minutericepartner

Homemade cinnamon rolls are hands down my favorite

Homemade cinnamon rolls are hands down my favorite and thanks to my super easy sandwich loaf recipe they are simple to make.

Yields 1 loaf of bread and 1 dozen cinnamon rolls. Comment RECIPE for the details on a single batch of cinnamon rolls to your inbox.

INGREDIENTS
FOR THE DOUGH

2 1/4 tsp yeast
2 tbsp honey or sugar
1/4 cup water warmed
1 1/2 tsp salt
5 tbsp butter
1 egg
6 cups flour
2 cups milk

FOR THE FILLING
1/2 cup butter, softened
3/4 cup brown sugar
1 tbsp cinnamon

FOR THE BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
1/2 cup butter
2 cups powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract

INSTRUCTIONS
Combine 1/4 cup warmed water with yeast and honey/sugar. Set aside until foamy. If your yeast does not foam up, do not proceed to the next step. This means your yeast is not active.

Once the yeast mixture is foamy combine all yeast mixture, milk, egg, salt, and 5 cups of flour. Mix to combine, adding in additional flour until the mixture pulls away from the bowl.

Knead mixture for 7-10 minutes, or until the dough is smooth. Shape into a ball, place back into bowl, cover and let rise for an hour, until doubled.

Place dough onto counter and divide into 2 sections. Use half of the dough for the remaining recipe and the other half of the dough for sandwich bread.  
Pour dough onto a lightly floured counter and roll into an 18” long rectangle.  
Spread remaining butter onto the rectangle and sprinkle with brown sugar and cinnamon.  
Roll the dough into a log and cut into 1.5” slices, place onto a baking sheet.  
Cover the dough lightly with a clean cloth and let rise for an additional hour.  
Preheat oven to 350.  
Remove cloth and bake the cinnamon rolls for 20-25 minutes.  
BUTTERCREAM FROSTING
While the rolls are baking add butter, vanilla extract and powdered sugar to a bowl and mix until well combined.  
Let rolls cool slightly, then spread the cream cheese frosting onto the warm cinnamon rolls.  
Dive in and enjoy!

INGREDIENTS
Bagel
1 1/2 cups water
1 tbsp maple syrup
2 1/4 tsp dry active yeast
4 cups bread flour
1 1/2 tsp salt
1 tsp cinnamon
2 bananas mashed
1/4 cup brown sugar for boiling water

Cinnamon Crunch Topping
1 egg for egg wash
1/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup course sugar
2 tbsp flour
2 tbsp butter melted
1 1/2 tsp cinnamon

INSTRUCTIONS
Add in yeast, maple syrup, and 1/2 cup warm water into a small bowl. Mix and set aside for 5 minutes.

In a large bowl mash the bananas, then add in remaining water, salt, cinnamon, and yeast mixture. Mix to combine.

Add 3 and 1/2 cups of flour to your mixture and mix to combine. Add in additional flour until the dough starts to pull away from the bowl.

Pour mixture onto a floured surface and knead for 10-15 minutes or until the dough is smooth.

Place back into an oiled bowl and allow to rise for about an hour or until doubled in size.

Divide the dough into 6 equal pieces and create the bagel shape.

Place onto parchment lined baking sheets and cover to rise for 30 minutes.

While the bagels are rising, Make the cinnamon crunch topping by combining everything except for the egg into a small bowl. Set aside.

In an other small bowl combine 1 egg and 2 tbsp water. Mix to combine and set aside.

Fill a large pot with water and bring to a boil and add in brown sugar.

Preheat oven to 425.

Once the water is boiling, use a spatula to gently drop the bagels into the boiling water one at a time.

Boil for about 30 seconds on each side. Remove to a lined baking sheet.

Brush bagels with egg wash and then top with cinnamon crunch mixture.

Cook the bagels for 15 to 20 minutes, rotating the pans halfway through.

Looking for a show stopping Valentine’s Dinner at home? Look no further, this Jalapeño Popper Steak Pinwheel is always a favorite around here, and so easy to make!

INGREDIENTS
1 1/2 lb skirt steak
8 oz cream cheese
2 jalapeños diced
1/2 lb bacon cooked + crumbled
2 cups cheddar cheese shredded
salt and pepper
INSTRUCTIONS

Preheat oven to 350.
In a small bowl combine combine cream cheese, diced jalapeños and shredded cheese.
Layout skirt steak and season with salt and pepper.
Spread cream cheese mixture onto steak. Then sprinkle on cooked and crumbled bacon.
Roll steak tightly into pinwheel and tie with cooking twine in two or three spots depending on your desired thickness. Cut between each piece of twine.
Place into a baking dish and cook for 10 minutes. Remove from oven and let rest for 5 minutes. Enjoy!

These Homemade Cherry Poptarts are so much better than the store-bought kind! They’re filled with homemade cherry jam and finished with a sweet and simple vanilla icing.

INGREDIENTS
Homemade Pie Crust
2 cups flour
1 cup butter cold and cubed
3-4 tbsp ice cold water
1 egg
Cherry Filling
3 cups sweet cherries pitted
1/2 cup granulated sugar
Vanilla Glaze
1 cup powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla extract
3-4 tbsp heavy cream

INSTRUCTIONS
Cherry Filling
In a medium sized saucepan add pitted cherries and granulated sugar. Cook over medium heat for 20-30 minutes until the sauce has thickened. Set aside for later. 
If the sauce is not thickening to your desired consistency, or if you are wanting to speed up the process add 1 tbsp of cornstarch in with the cherry mixture while cooking. 
Pie Crust
In a large bowl add cubed butter, salt and flour. Using a pastry cutter or two knives cut together the flour and butte until it resembles crumbly flour. 
Slowly add in the ice cold water until the dough starts to come together. Once the dough starts to come together pour onto a counter and use your hands to combine the dough. 
Pop Tarts
Preheat oven to 425. 
Roll out pie crust to your desired thickness, cut dough into rectangles or use a cookie cutter to make shapes into the dough. 
On half of your pie crust shapes spread 1 tbsp of cherry mixture. Being careful to leave a 1/2” perimeter around your circle or rectangle jam free. 
Top each jam crust with a second layer of crust and use a fork to crimp the edges to seal the two pieces of crust together.

In a small bowl combine 1 egg with 1 tbsp water. Mix to combine. Brush each tart with this egg wash and place in oven.

Bake for 12-15 minutes until crust is golden brown. 
While the tarts are baking combine powdered sugar, vanilla extract and heavy cream.

Remove tarts from the oven and spread glaze on top.
