Chocolate chips and flakey sea salt creates the ultimate cookie bar. All the flavors of a cookie, but in a bar form.
Ingredients
Chocolate Chips – I love milk chocolate for extra sweetness
Butter – unsalted is best since we are adding extra flakey salt to the top.
Egg – acts as a binder for the dough.
Vanilla Extract – really ups the flavor by using vanilla bean paste.
Sugar – both brown sugar for a warm caramely flavor and granulated for a little exterior crunch.
Flour – all purpose flour is best
Baking Powder and Baking Soda – I like the combination of baking powder and soda for my cookies
Salt – both regular salt in the cookie dough and flaky salt for topping
