A few days ago I shared on Instagram how I was planning on following a cleaning schedule. Each day of the week I had designated zones of the house that got attention, I also have daily and monthly tasks on the list.
I created the list, laminated it, and hung it on my fridge, that way it was somewhere easily accessible. Then I mark off items with a dry erase marker as I do them. I’m a huge list person and the action of being able to mark something off instantly makes me feel like I accomplished something.
Using a daily cleaning schedule has made all the difference so far (I’ve only been using it a week), but my house is the tidiest that it has been since before Weston was born. Instead of feeling overwhelmed by trying to clean the whole house at once, I can concentrate on a single area at a time. Brody has even been excited to help me do the chores.
A few of you told me that you needed to make a schedule like this or asked for mine, so below you can either save this photo or use this link to edit and customize your own schedule.

Let me know. Do you use a cleaning schedule? What items would you add to your list? How do you handle keeping your house tidy with little kids?
