Parmesan Thyme and Bacon Frittata
Crispy bacon, parmesan cheese, savory herbs are all mixed together with eggs for a delicious frittata.
Ingredients
- 4 Tbsp butter
- 6 eggs
- 3/4 cup milk
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 cup parmesan cheese shredded
- 1 cup mozzarella cheese shredded
- 1/2 lb bacon cooked + crumbled
- 1 Tbsp fresh thyme
- 1 Tbsp fresh basil
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 425.
- Place butter into a cast iron skillet and place into oven to preheat skillet and melt butter.
- In a bowl combine eggs, milk, salt, parmesan cheese, thyme and basil.
- Remove skillet from the oven and pour egg mixture into the pan. Place back into the oven. Bake for 20-25 minutes.
- Top with mozzarella and crumbled bacon. Place back in oven until cheese has melted.
