  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 6 slices ham
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tbsp dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • Thyme for garnish

This ham and cheese puff pastry is great as an easy breakfast or delicious appetizer!

Ingredients
  

  • 1 sheet puff pastry
  • 6 slices ham
  • 6 slices provolone cheese
  • 2 tablespoon dijon mustard
  • 1 egg
  • Thyme for garnish

Instructions
 

  1. Preheat oven to 425.
  2. Cut the sheet of puff pastry into 6 equal pieces.
  3. Spread dijon mustard onto each slice then layer with a piece of cheese and a slice of ham.
  4. Take two corners of the puff pastry and fold towards the middle and press to seal together. Place onto a baking sheet.
  5. Mix an egg into a small bowl and brush over the top of each pastry.
  6. Bake for 10-12 minutes until gold brown and melty. Garnish with some fresh chopped thyme and enjoy!
