An easy banana bread with a cinnamon sugar topping, a perfect to upgrade your traditional banana bread.
Easy Banana Bread
Banana bread is a favorite in our house. A loaf of fresh banana bread hardly lasts a day between the entire house, paired with a cinnamon maple butter you cannot go wrong! This banana bread base takes one one bowl to mix up and the cinnamon brown sugar topping adds just a little bit of extra spice to upgrade the traditional banana bread loaf.
Banana Bread Ingredients
- All Purpose Flour – This can be swapped for bread flour for a slightly chewier result.
- Maple Syrup – I love the flavor and sweetness this adds to the bread.
- Bananas – Uhh. Can’t really make banana bread without them.
- Baking Soda – this is what makes your bread rise
- Butter – I prefer to use melted so that it mixes one easier, but just softened butter works
- Eggs – creates structure to your batter
- Brown Sugar – gives a slight molasses flavor
- Cinnamon – the warm this adds puts it over the top
Enjoy this loaf with a maple cinnamon butter and it just puts the whole slice out of this world!
