This sourdough pizza dough recipe is simple to throw together and requires no stretch and folds! Simply mix it together in the morning for pizza that evening.
Sourdough Pizza Ingredients
- Active Sourdough Starter – you will want nice and bubbly active sourdough starter. If you don’t have a sourdough starter you can learn how to make your own or get one from a friend!
- All Purpose Flour – any time I’m using sourdough I make sure to use unbleached flour
- Salt – your favorite salt adds flavor and structure to your dough
- Olive Oil – optional, but love the texture the addition adds
How to Make Sourdough Pizza Crust
- In a large mixing bowl combine all ingredients. Mix until incorporated. let rest for 30 minutes.
- Allow to rest at room temperature for about 6 hours (until doubled in size).
- Shape into a ball and let rest for an additional 2 hours or place into the fridge or later.
- Roll out your dough. Add your pizza toppings and bake at 450 for 12-15 minutes.
