Ingredients
- Butter – unsalted is best, if using salted cut back on the salt in the recipe
- Cornmeal –
- Honey – for a touch of sweetness
- Flour – we prefer to use all purpose
- Eggs –
- Baking Powder
- Salt
- Milk
How to Make Honey Cornbread in a skillet
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Melt butter in an 8.5” – 10” skillet.
- In a bowl combine remaining ingredients.
- Pour mixture over melted butter.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes. Or until a toothpick comes out clean.
- Enjoy with honey butter while warm.

- 1/2 cup honey
- 1 1/2 cup all purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 tbsp baking powder
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 1/2 cup milk
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 350.
- Melt butter in an 8.5” – 10” skillet.
- In a bowl combine remaining ingredients.
- Pour mixture over melted butter.
