Love lasagna, but don’t love boiling the noodles before assembly? Then this recipe is just what you need! It is so simple to put together, simply cook your beef, add your spaghetti sauce and seasoning, and layer in a baking dish with cheese!
Lazy Lasagna
This lasagna recipe doesn't require boiling the noodles prior and doesn't require using ready to bake noodles!
Ingredients
- 2 lbs ground beef
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 48 oz spaghetti sauce
- 14 oz ricotta
- 2 eggs
- 3 cups mozzarella shredded
- 9-12 lasagna noodles
- 1/2 cup water or chicken broth
Instructions
- In a large skillet brownground beef and season with Italian seasoning, onion and garlic powder. Stir in spaghetti sauce.
- In a medium bowl combine ricotta, eggs, and 2 cups of mozzarella.
- In a 9×13 pan, add a layer of meat sauce, top with 3 noodles, and then a layer of cheese mixture.
- Repeat step 3 2-3 more times.
- Top the layers with a final layer of the meat mixture and remaining cup of cheese. Pour the water or broth around the edges.
- Bake covered at 350 for 45 minutes, remove cover and bake an additional 15 minutes.
