- Sugar – regular white granulated sugar is best
- Water – swap out for milk if you want this to be creamier
- Salt – just a pinch helps to balance out the sweetness
How to Make Homemade Chocolate Syrup
- In a saucepan combine cocoa and sugar. Mix to combine.
- Add in water and mix to combine.
- Simmer over medium heat for 5-10 minutes or until the desired thickness has occurred.
- Pour into a jar and store in the refrigerator .
