Meal Plan 10/10 – 10/16

Ok! This may sound crazy, but since I started sharing my weekly dinner plans with you all I actually enjoy planning dinners! It has been so nice having a plan for what we will eat each night and not have to worry about coming up with something last minute.

This week I decided to try something a little different. I thought it would be nice to include a grocery list so that you can easily see what you need when shopping for the week. Let me know if this is helpful for you or not!

SUNDAY – Burgers w/ fries and peas

I had burgers on my list of meals last week, but we ended up having dinner at my in-laws on Sunday, so I adjusted the week. They were an easy thing to push off, so we are having them tonight!

MONDAY – Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

This one was husband requested. Eventually I will get some more of these staple dinners uploaded as their own post but for now here is what I do.

Cook bowtie pasta as directed. Cut up 2 lbs of chicken into 1 inch cubes and 1/2 lb bacon in 1 inch strips, season with salt and pepper and cook in a large sauté pan with a little butter. Remove chicken from the pan and create an Alfredo base. Combine a little garlic with 8 tbsp butter and 2 cups heavy cream until simmering, then add 3 cups of shredded parmesan cheese and a ranch seasoning packet. Whisk until melted. Add chicken back to Alfredo mixture and then add pasta. Done!

TUESDAY – Tacos w/ Rice

Tacos are a great easy dinner around here! I just use ground beef with seasoning and then whatever toppings I feel like. I also like to add a little box of rice-a-roni Mexican rice.

WEDNESDAY – Pork Tenderloin w/salad + rolls

For the pork tenderloin I like to season it with Santa Maria Seasoning and grill it on the Camp Chef Grill. Then we will add a green salad and crescent rolls.

THURSDAY – Cowboy Casserole w/ green beans

Another quick and easy recipe in our house. You can find it here. Or pin it here for later.

FRIDAY – Butter Steak Bites

I saw this recipe on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try!

SATURDAY – This is leftover day. We clean up what is left or I leave this day flexible if something didn’t go a planned during the week.

Comment HERBS for all the planter.

My @greenstalkgarden herb garden might be my favorite thing in the garden right now.

There’s something so special about stepping outside and grabbing fresh herbs for dinner. Basil, dill, rosemary, mint, all the herbs my heart desires.

Comment GRILL for both the recipes!

Grill girl summer is officially underway 🔥☀️

Turns out grilling is a whole lot less intimidating when you realize it’s basically just an outdoor oven with better flavor. Thanks @traegergrills.

Tri-tip for dinner, mixed berry cobbler for dessert, and not heating up the kitchen in the process? That feels like a win to me.

Also, respectfully, we are no longer leaving the grilling to the boys this summer.

This one is for those who don’t really like cake.

Homemade fresh mint chip ice cream, a fudgy cookie layer, and cookies & cream ice cream all stacked into one very perfect ice cream cake.

One of my favorite things about making desserts from scratch is getting to create flavor combinations you can’t always find at the store.

And honestly, that’s the fun of homemade, making exactly what you wish existed.
