Meal Plan 10/10 - 10/16

Ok! This may sound crazy, but since I started sharing my weekly dinner plans with you all I actually enjoy planning dinners! It has been so nice having a plan for what we will eat each night and not have to worry about coming up with something last minute.

This week I decided to try something a little different. I thought it would be nice to include a grocery list so that you can easily see what you need when shopping for the week. Let me know if this is helpful for you or not!

SUNDAY - Burgers w/ fries and peas

I had burgers on my list of meals last week, but we ended up having dinner at my in-laws on Sunday, so I adjusted the week. They were an easy thing to push off, so we are having them tonight!

MONDAY - Chicken Bacon Ranch Pasta

This one was husband requested. Eventually I will get some more of these staple dinners uploaded as their own post but for now here is what I do.

Cook bowtie pasta as directed. Cut up 2 lbs of chicken into 1 inch cubes and ½ lb bacon in 1 inch strips, season with salt and pepper and cook in a large sauté pan with a little butter. Remove chicken from the pan and create an Alfredo base. Combine a little garlic with 8 tablespoon butter and 2 cups heavy cream until simmering, then add 3 cups of shredded parmesan cheese and a ranch seasoning packet. Whisk until melted. Add chicken back to Alfredo mixture and then add pasta. Done!

TUESDAY - Tacos w/ Rice

Tacos are a great easy dinner around here! I just use ground beef with seasoning and then whatever toppings I feel like. I also like to add a little box of rice-a-roni Mexican rice.

WEDNESDAY - Pork Tenderloin w/salad + rolls

For the pork tenderloin I like to season it with Santa Maria Seasoning and grill it on the Camp Chef Grill. Then we will add a green salad and crescent rolls.

THURSDAY - Cowboy Casserole w/ green beans

FRIDAY - Butter Steak Bites

I saw this recipe on Pinterest and wanted to give it a try!

SATURDAY - This is leftover day. We clean up what is left or I leave this day flexible if something didn't go a planned during the week.
