If you’re craving the cozy flavors of apple pie but want something fun, easy, and a little unexpected, these Apple Pie Nachos are about to become your new favorite fall dessert. This dessert is perfect for fall gatherings, movie nights, or when you just want to treat yourself to something sweet and comforting in under 30 minutes. Each bite is a delicious mix of crispy, creamy, and spiced apple goodness — the ultimate fall snack for apple lovers.

Why You’ll Love These Apple Pie Nachos

🍎 Quick and easy: Ready in under 30 minutes — no baking required!
🍯 Warm fall flavors: Loaded with cinnamon, sugar, and buttery caramelized apples.
🍰 Creamy cheesecake drizzle: Adds a luscious, tangy sweetness that balances the spice.
🥨 Fun to share: Perfect for parties, family nights, or casual fall entertaining.
🍁 Tastes like apple pie — but even better.

Ingredients You’ll Need

Churro Chips

  • Churro chips (8 oz) – The crispy base that gives every bite a sweet, cinnamon-sugar crunch. You can find these in most grocery stores, or make your own using baked or fried tortillas dusted in cinnamon sugar.

Apple Pie Filling

  • Apples – Choose firm, tart-sweet varieties like Honeycrisp, Gala, or Granny Smith for the best texture and flavor.
  • Granulated sugar – Sweetens and helps the apples caramelize beautifully.
  • Butter – Adds richness and depth to the filling.
  • Cinnamon – The classic spice that makes it taste like fall.
  • Water – Helps create a silky, syrupy consistency.

Tip: If your mixture gets too thick before the apples are tender, add 1–2 tablespoons of water to loosen it up.

Cheesecake Filling

  • Heavy cream – Whipped to create a light, fluffy texture.
  • Powdered sugar – Sweetens the cheesecake mixture without making it grainy.
  • Cream cheese – Brings that signature tangy, creamy flavor.
  • Vanilla extract – Rounds out the sweetness with a warm, bakery-style note.

Step-by-Step Instructions

1. Make the Apple Pie Filling

In a skillet over medium heat, combine diced apples, sugar, cinnamon, butter, and water.
Cook until the apples are soft and the mixture begins to caramelize, about 8–10 minutes. If it thickens too quickly, add a splash more water until smooth and syrupy. Set aside to cool slightly.

2. Make the Cheesecake Filling

In a mixing bowl, whip together heavy cream and powdered sugar until stiff peaks form.
Add the softened cream cheese and vanilla extract, then mix until smooth and creamy. This luscious topping will drizzle perfectly over the nachos.

3. Assemble the Nachos

Arrange churro chips on a large plate or platter. Spoon the warm apple pie filling over the chips, then drizzle with generous swirls of cheesecake filling.

Optional but highly recommended: Finish with caramel drizzle, extra cinnamon, or crushed graham crackers for that classic “apple pie à la mode” experience.

Variations & Add-Ins

🍏 Make it caramel apple nachos: Drizzle with salted caramel sauce instead of cheesecake filling.
🥧 Add pie crust chips: Swap churro chips for baked pie crust pieces.
🍦 Serve à la mode: Add a scoop of vanilla ice cream for the ultimate fall dessert.
🌾 Make it gluten-free: Use gluten-free tortilla chips or cinnamon crisps.
🥜 Go nutty: Sprinkle chopped pecans or walnuts on top for crunch.

Storage & Make-Ahead Tips

  • Apple pie filling can be made up to 3 days ahead and stored in an airtight container in the fridge. Reheat gently before serving.
  • Cheesecake filling can be made in advance and kept chilled for 2–3 days.
  • Assemble the nachos just before serving for the best crunch.

When to Serve Apple Pie Nachos

These dessert nachos are perfect for:

  • Fall parties or potlucks 🍂
  • Thanksgiving dessert tables 🦃
  • Family game night 🎲
  • Cozy weekend movie marathons 🍿
  • Anytime you want a quick and impressive treat!

This one is for those who don’t really like cake.

Homemade fresh mint chip ice cream, a fudgy cookie layer, and cookies & cream ice cream all stacked into one very perfect ice cream cake.

One of my favorite things about making desserts from scratch is getting to create flavor combinations you can’t always find at the store.

And honestly, that’s the fun of homemade, making exactly what you wish existed.

One of my favorite things about making things homemade is getting to create something you wish existed in the world.

I wanted the nostalgic crunch of those strawberry cheesecake ice cream bars… but with raspberry and an actual cheesecake twist. So naturally I had to make it happen.

And honestly? This might be one of those recipes that makes you stop after the first bite and think, where has this been my whole life?

Sweet, creamy, crunchy, raspberry perfection.

Would you try raspberry over strawberry? 👇

Episode 9 of the garden series and the garden is finally starting to fill in 🌱✨

This week I planted:🌶️ Peppers with onions, cilantro and marigolds🫘 Beans alongside potatoes and marigolds🥒 Cucumbers with dill, carrots, and radishes🌸 PLUS all the flowers — zinnias, dahlias, snapdragons, strawflower, celosia, and feverfew

I love companion planting because every plant has a purpose. Some help attract pollinators, some deter pests, and some simply help maximize space in the garden beds. And honestly… mixing veggies and flowers together just makes the garden feel magical. 🌼🐝

The vision is finally starting to come together and I cannot wait to see everything explode with growth over the next few weeks.

Which plant are you most excited to watch grow this season? 👇
