Super Simple Orange Chicken

Super simple homemade orange chicken for an easy weeknight dinner.

Ingredients

  • Popcorn Chicken
  • Orange Juice
  • Bachan's Sauce - can swap for ¼ cup soy sauce, ¼ cup brown sugar, ¼ cup white vinegar, 1 teaspoon seasme oil.
  • Corn Starch - for thickening the sauce
  • Oil - for sautéing the garlic
  • Garlic - fresh minced
  • Red Pepper Flakes - just a pinch for a touch of heat.

How to make orange chicken

  • Cook chicken according to package.
  • In a small bowl combine orange juice, Bachans, and corn starch. Mix to combine.
  • In a skillet over medium heat. Add oil, garlic, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 1-2 minutes.
  • Add in orange juice mixture and cook over medium heat until sauce is thickened.
  • Pour sauce over cooked chicken and serve with a side of rice and steamed veggies!
