These white chocolate chai cookies add the perfect fall flavors to our bakery style cookie line up.

Bakery Style White Chocolate Chai Cookies

Ingredients

  • Butter – all cookies start with a good base of butter. Unsalted is preferred for baking.
  • Sugar – both granulated sugar and brown sugar are used.
  • Egg – helps for the structure of the dough and ensure everything binds together properly.
  • Vanilla Extract – give the perfect vanilla flavor to our cookies
  • Flour – all purpose works best
  • Chai Spice – you can make your own chai spice by combining 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon ground ginger, 1/2 teaspoon ground cardamon, and 1/4 teaspoon ground all spice
  • Baking Powder and Baking Soda – I love the way that cookies turn out when using both.
  • Salt – must need to balance all the flavors.
  • White Chocolate Chips – for the perfect melty combination with the chai

How to Make White Chocolate Chai Cookies

  • Preheat the oven to 375F and line a large baking sheet with parchment paper and set aside.
  • In a medium sized bowl, mix the ¼ cup granulated sugar and chai spice together then set aside.
  • Cream the butter, the brown sugar, and the granulated sugar together until light and creamy.
  • Add in the egg yolk and vanilla extract and mix until combined.
  • Add in the flour, baking powder, baking soda, salt, and chai spice and mix just until the dry mixture disappears. Fold in white chocolate chips
  • Using a large cookie scooper, scoop out 8 equally sized cookie dough balls, roll them between the palm of your hand, then roll them in the cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Place the cookies on the prepared baking sheet then bake in the preheated oven for 10 minutes.
  • Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for 5 minutes then transfer to a cooling rack and cool fully.

#ad | These Cowboy Burgers are a MUST this grilling season, and the ground beef I grabbed from my local @KrogerCo Family of Stores made them perfect for feeding a crowd.

Juicy, smoky, loaded with all the good stuff… aka the kind of burger that disappears the second it hits the table.

Save this for your next summertime cookout + drop “BURGER” 🍔 if you can’t wait to make these!
