Homemade Granola Bars

These homemade granola bars are not only are made of 5 simple ingredients, they are also super easy to make!

These granola bars are so simple and delicious. They are a favorite grab and go breakfast or snack around here. With five simple ingredients these should be a staple at your house!

  • Natural peanut butter – this binds the bars together, adds protein, healthy fats, and delicious flavor
  • Rolled Oats – they give these bars a perfect chewy texture.
  • Honey – this also helps everything bind together and gives another boost of sweetness.
  • Vanilla extract – who doesn't love vanilla?
  • Chocolate chips – I prefer to use mini's, but use whatever you have on hand! I've used dried fruit here also. Mini marshmallows would be so yummy to add in!

Personally, I love to mix these up with my stand mixer but you can totally mix them by hand or with a hand mixer. I promised simple, and I don't think these can get much more simple! I throw all of the ingredients in the bowl and mix up! Occasionally, I will save the chocolate chips and just sprinkle them on top vs mixing them in, but both ways are incredibly yummy!
