This BBQ Whiskey Chicken Thighs are the perfect protein for your next summer BBQ.

Ingredients for Whiskey Chicken

  • Whiskey – use your favorite whiskey for drinking. The alcohol will cook off, leaving just the flavor behind.
  • Pineapple Juice – is great for breaking down any tissue resulting in a more tender protein.
  • BBQ Sauce – use your favorite from the store or make your own.
  • Chicken Thighs – Can also swap for chicken breasts or chicken drumsticks!
  • Seasonings – garlic cloves, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and pepper.

How to Make Grilled Whiskey Chicken

  • Whisk together whiskey, pineapple juice, BBQ sauce, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt and pepper. Pour over chicken and let marinate 4-6 hours.
  • Remove chicken from marinade and grill over medium heat for 10 to 12 minutes, flip and cook for an additional 8-10 minutes or until chicken is cooked throughout.
  • Brush with additional BBQ sauce before removing from grill, if desired.

  • 3/4 cup whiskey

Girls day, but make it a little messy, a little creative, and a lot delicious. 

I hosted the sweetest paint + pot afternoon with my friends. Just us, some blank pots, and zero pressure to be “good” at anything except having fun. 

We painted, we laughed, we caught up on life… and of course, we ate really well:
🍋 Lemon blueberry cake 
🍯 Garlic honey chicken with fresh peach salsa 
🥙 Greek salad hummus bites 

It’s wild how something this simple can fill your cup so much. No big production, just intentional time together, and honestly, we need more of that.

10/10 recommend hosting your girls, even if it’s not perfect. Especially if it’s not perfect 🤍
