These cream cheese danishes with peaches are the perfect sweet treat for your next breakfast or brunch and they are SO easy to put together.

Ingredients for Cream Cheese Peach Danish

  • Cream Cheese - for the creamy filling of the danish.
  • Powdered Sugar - to sweeten the filling and the glaze.
  • Vanilla Extract - everything is better with a little vanilla.
  • Peach - skin on or off, it is up to you.
  • Granulated Sugar - to sweeten the peach mixture.
  • Cinnamon - to spice up the peaches.
  • Puff Pastry - the base of our danish. If you are feeling really ambitious make this from scratch!
  • Egg - brushed in an egg wash to brown up the edges of the danish.
  • Heavy Cream - to thin out the glaze.

How to Make Cream Cheese Danish

  • Remove puff pastry from the freezer and allow to sit for 30 minutes until it is pliable.
  • Preheat oven to 400.
  • In a bowl combine cream cheese, ¼ cup powdered sugar, and vanilla extract. Mix until smooth.
  • In another bowl combine sliced peaches, sugar, and cinnamon. Mix until peaches are all coated.
  • Cut puff pastry into 6 pieces.
  • Add 1-2 tablespoon of cream cheese mixture to the top of the puff pastry. Spreading the mixture ¼ inch from the edges.
  • Layer peaches onto of cream cheese mixture.
  • In a small bowl combine egg and 1-2 tablespoon of water. Mix to combine.
  • Using a pastry brush brush the edges of the puff pastry. This helps the pastry brown up in the oven.
  • Bake for 15-20 minutes.
  • Combine remaining ¼ cup powdered sugar with heavy cream to create a pourable consistency. Drizzle over freshly baked danishes and enjoy hot.
